is important to know licenses, as they define us when something is free and when it is proprietary. We know that when we talk about software, if installed it signed a license, which we may or may not restrict certain software things that could define whether or not free software. Given this philosophy and these licenses free, people began to share some things that could be uploaded to the internet and also need a license to move and protect my rights as an author (always under the philosophy of free software), and this initiated a movement which I call the Free World. This movement was captured in a non-governmental non-profit organization called Creative Commons which is responsible, from 2001 to today, to draw largely inspired license in the GPL (General Public License) the GNU.
Various licenses and comments about them:
- Free Software Licenses GPL-compatible
- Software License is incompatible with the GPL
- NO FREE Software Licensing
- Free Documentation License
- Documentation License NO FREE
- Licensing workers other than the Software and Documentation Licenses
- of CC's (Creative Commons)
